I’m about $30,000 in debt, and well what my original plan was to get have a Credit Card company to offer me a card where I can put all my present cards, all into one. And just pay one bill. Which companies actually offer that? What about Credit Consolidation? What do you guys advice me to do? What about the NFCC? Thanks!

I am thinking about going through them for credit counseling and possibly even a debt management program to reduce my credit debt to manageable levels. I live in Albuquerque, but they have a bunch of offices in Arizona and New MExico. Does anyone have any experience with them? If so, how did it affect your credit, and how did it all work out for you?
By the way, I found them at the nfcc.org member location website, so I am pretty sre that they are legit.
Thanks.

I was wondering if any of ya’ll knew what courses I could take while still in high school that could help me in college to become a Forensic anthropologist??
I am a Sophomore in high school and I am home schooled if that helps!…I am planning on dual enrolling at NFCC (North Florida Community College) next school year..so also classes I can take there that will help!
I know University of Florida has a really good Anthropology program, but it is really hard to get into and I will probably not get into it buy just applying (my dad teaches /coaches at a public school and a kid from there had a 4.0GPA and still didn’t get accepted!) so I will probably/maybe go to Santa Fe CC for 2 years and then transfer..but I don’t know if Santa Fe has an Anthropology program there…Any help and I would be so grateful for it!!
Does anyone know if Santa Fe has a Anthropology program??
THANK YA’LL SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!

I am deep into debt and cant make minimum payments. I started to go through CreditSolutions.com but that was a month and a half ago and Ive seen no results. When I did some more research on them I found a lot of negative things. I also found people suggesting Consumer Credit Counseling Services which is a non-profit. Just wondering what your experience with them was like. My credit is already shot cause Im late on payments so Im not concerned about that at this point. I just want to find the best and cheapest way to pay off debt and fast before I start getting sued! Please only people who have actual experience with CCCS answer. Thanks! www.cccsstl.org Ive also been looking into this company, http://www.nfcc.org/

The taxes we owe are from when my husband started his own business. We weren’t sure how to file, when etc. (Totally our fault for not educating ourselves.) We’re on a payment plan with the IRS. The interest and penalties alone are $500 a month! Plus, credit card debt! Anyone work with the nfcc, tax accountants? We want to pay everything. But, with all the interest and fees I feel like it’s never going away.

My question involves a credit report problem in the State of California.
Hi all, I stuck in a weird situation and any help would be appreciated.
First of all, few years back when I was a student I was young and stupid and spent excessively on a Chase credit card. I thought once I finish school I could pay it off with no problem. But once I finished school, things werent working as expected and I was unemployed for about 6 months. During this time, I had failed to pay my chase card. This started back in July 2007.
I started getting collection calls after a while threatening me. By Dec, I got a good job and finally was able to make a lot of money. So I registered into a debt management plan sponsored by NFCC and sent in a request to Chase. They promptly agreed for a payment plan and got my account back from the collection agency. I have been making regular payments on the account as promised since Jan 2008.
The problem is I just pulled my credit report and the account is being reported as KD and the status is charged off. THis is clearly not the case, Since Jan 2008 end my account is being handled by Chase recovery dept and I have never missed any payments.
So shouldnt my credit report have a OK or PP on it? Why is KD being logged even after I started the payment plan? And why is my account still on charged-off status?
I am saddened by the fact that this happens even after I try to pay off my debts. Please advice.

I am doing the Credit Counseling I am just trying to find which one I should use. Is NFCC or Consumer Credit Counseling good? Those are the top ones I have done research on. I am just asking which ones others have heard or used if anyone can let me know that would be great. Yes I know about Credit Counseling so I do not need advice about that itself just the companies that are best. Thanks again

Ok so I am going to be doing credit counseling with NFCC. I basically got screwed over in the past and to be honest I do not even know what is what with my old bills. I was behind and only one was willing to work with me with a payment plan so that is the only one I know I have under controll. Some are in collections and some aren’t. I need all my info ready when doing the credit counseling. Would it say right away if it is in collections on my credit report and give me the collections info? Would credit counseling call collections also or would I need to figure out what is what with them cause I know collections are hard to talk to. Thanks for your help.
